Who We Are

The East Liverpool Area Community & Learning Center first opened its doors to the community on May 31st, 2016.  The Center is the operating wing of The HHH Foundation that was incorporated in the State of Ohio as a non-profit charitable corporation in September 2015..  In December the Foundation received its notice of acceptance of its 501 (c) (3) initial filing with the IRS for the treatment of donations as tax deductible to the corporation.  On May 5, 2016, the IRS notified the Foundation that it had been determined to be a tax exempt organization under IRC Section 170.

In February 2016 the Trinity Presbyterian Church donated its property and buildings to the Foundation.  Trinity continues as a tenant of the property while it searches for a merger partner or finds another suitable location.  The Foundation was successful in raising $350,000 from the community and it has made a considerable number of repairs and improvements to the property, and it continues to do so since the opening.

The operation of the Center and the Foundation is under the direction of ten members of its Board of Directors.  The phone number of the Center is (330) 303-2110 and its address is P. O. Box 103, East Liverpool, Ohio.  The physical address is 110 Maine Boulevard on property that adjoins the East Liverpool High School buildings.  The Board has named a Center Coordinator to act on behalf of the Board of Directors in matter involving the Center.
