Purpose

What is the purpose of the charitable foundation?

The Purpose Clause has been filed with the Secretary of State of Ohio and with the Internal Revenue Service as follows:

“To operate and maintain s Community Center to benefit residents of the upper Ohio Valley and to promote and encourage public interest in education, entertainment, recreation and socialization among all persons visiting the Center, to provide a place for the study and the promulgation of the history and heritage of the area and combat juvenile delinquency in the community.  The Center will serve persons of all ages, ethnicity, race, color and creed.”

The Articles of Incorporation will be made available in accordance with its provisions and the By Laws of the Foundation upon proper request by a member of the Center or the Foundation.
